Project Coordinator

Devanahalli, Bengaluru 0–3 Years Experience Full-Time On-site 2 Openings Reports to Project Manager

About This Role

A-Square Group is hiring two proactive and detail-oriented Project Coordinators to support our MEP Design Projects. You will work closely under the Project Manager, coordinating internal design teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely project delivery.

The role requires strong coordination skills, the ability to read technical drawings, and confidence in tracking project schedules through MIS reports and Gantt charts. You will act as the communication bridge between clients, architects, project managers, and the internal design team. This is an ideal position for entry-level engineers who want to build strong project management exposure within the MEP consultancy domain.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Scheduling
  • Assist the Project Manager in planning and monitoring project timelines
  • Prepare and maintain Gantt charts (project schedules) for all assigned projects
  • Track daily/weekly deliverables and update progress status
  • Ensure design submissions are aligned with agreed timelines
  • Escalate potential delays to the Project Manager proactively

MIS & Reporting
  • Prepare and circulate Weekly & Monthly MIS reports
  • Track submission status, pending inputs, client approvals, design revisions and internal turnaround time
  • Maintain project trackers and update management dashboards
  • Monitor dependency matrices

Client & Consultant Coordination
  • Coordinate with Clients, Architects, Project Management Consultants (PMC) and Structural & other agencies
  • Follow up for required inputs — architectural drawings, structural drawings, load data, vendor inputs and site conditions
  • Document meeting minutes and circulate MOM within 24 hours

Internal Team Coordination
  • Ensure complete project inputs are shared with design engineers in advance
  • Clarify technical queries by coordinating with respective consultants
  • Track internal design progress and ensure drawings are reviewed before submission
  • Coordinate with the Quality team before every final submission

Documentation & Drawing Control
  • Maintain drawing registers and ensure version control of drawings
  • Keep track of revisions and approval history
  • Ensure submission records are properly archived

Technical Understanding
  • Read and understand AutoCAD drawings
  • Identify missing information in architectural or structural drawings
  • Support design engineers with documentation control

Required Skills & Qualifications

Qualifications

  • BE / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering
  • Basic knowledge of MEP systems
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Project (or equivalent)
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD — drawing reading is mandatory
